Spring Audition Information

DanceTroupe is holding auditions for the Spring 2012 Show! Come to showcase to see what dances you’d like to be in, fill in an online pref sheet, and come back the next day to audition!

  • Choreographer Showcase, Saturday Feb 11 at 2:30 pm, TClub
    See what the choreographers of MIT DanceTroupe have in store for you this semester, and start thinking about what dances you might want to audition for.
  • Hip-Hop/Jazz Auditions, Sunday Feb 12 at 1:30 pm, T-Club/Dupont
    Come show us what you can do and audition for the dances that you’ve indicated on your preference sheet!

Remember that you will need your MIT I.D. to enter the building!

No previous dance experience necessary!

AND MAKE SURE THAT YOU'RE AVAILIBLE FOR ALL OF THESE DATES!!!!

First Showings: Sunday March 18 (5 Weeks after Auditions)
Second Showings:  Sunday April 22 (5 Weeks after First Showings) 
Prod Week: Saturday May 5 - Sunday May 13 (Starts 2 weeks after 2nd Showings)

IAP Workshops!!

Dance Troupe is offering workshops over IAP, in order for the majority of us to not go into withdrawal.  If you need more dance in your life, or are looking to start, workshops are a great way to get involved with DT!  

Workshops will happen twice a week at the following locations and times:

  • Wednesdays 8:30-10:30 pm McCormick Dance Studio
  • Saturdays 2:30-4:30 T-club Lounge

The styles will vary, but all will be fun!
